Introduction to Computer Technologies
This is an introductory course for all students entering Computer  Systems Technology  programs. Students will learn the basics of computer care and operation, basic terminology, and the basics of disk operating system. Students will receive extensive training in all aspects of Windows operations.
 

Computer Systems Hardware Installation and Configuration
This course is designed to give the student the necessary hands-on training in the entire system. Students will learn to build systems and to add and install hardware components such as hard drives, CD ROMS, modems, sound cards etc.
 
Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Students will be trained in a foundation for information technology (IT) professionals who need to design, plan, implement, and support Windows XP Professional.
Windows Server 2003 Environment
This course provides the students with a solid foundation on important setup instructions that describe the hardware and software requirements to complete the procedures in this course. It will also cover NTFS, IIS, Printing issues, remote assistance, and recovery.
 

Implementing Microsoft Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
Set up client and server computers. Manage data storage, shared resources, and permissions. Install Internet Information Services. IP routing, ASR.
 

Administering Security in a Microsoft 2003 Network
This course provides the student with understanding of security needs of a company, and where and what security measure can be implemented to stop critical data loss or compromise. It uses technologies as IPSec, GPO, SSL, PKI, Digital Signatures, and permissions.
 

Implementing Microsoft 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
This course provides the student with understanding of Active Directory, including objects as Domains
, OUs, Sites, GPOs. Active Directory replication, optimization and reliabililty, Trust relationships, Forest and Trees.
 

Planning Microsoft Windows 2003 Network Infrastructure
This course prepares the student with advanced skills in planning a network infrastructure around features supported by Windows 2003 server including
DNS, RAS, WINS, NAT, PKI, IPSec, ASR, Monitoring, Net connectivity via TCP/IP protocol.
 

CompTia’s Security+
This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for the understanding of basic concepts of network security. Students in this course will Analyze Infrastructure, Monitoring Activities, Secure Networks, learn about Cryptography Basics, Methods & Standards, Policies & Procedures.
 

Designing Security for Server 2003 Network
Students will learn about how to design a more secure network or networks. This course will cover CA Hierarchies, Software Update service, Remote Administration, IIS lockdown, VPN Security.

Career Development
The purpose of this course is to give the students techniques that will assist them in acquiring career level employment. The techniques taught are: interviewing skills, how to conduct a successful job search, discovering the hidden job market, preparing effective resumes and cover letters as well as hands-on preparation through mock interviews.
